To be real... that moment of clarity you come across when you're able to be completely honest with yourself is literally THE best moment of your life. I say this because from that point forward, you're able to put your first foot towards the direction of being completely honest with and around others and when you are able to be yourself, that's when you begin to notice yourself advancing in life. When you are not completely real with yourself, how can you be real with or around anywhere else?
People can sense when someone is uncomfortable with being themselves or when someone is lying or putting up a false facade of what their persona is really like. The more people begin to notice this about you, the more people draw away from you and the more opportunities that will not be presented to you. You can lose out on the career of a life time not being yourself. So, I say if you want to advance in your career, your relationships with others, and most importantly, advance in your self esteem...
JUST BE YOURSELF!!
And I say this as I am off to my first trip to NYFW tomorrow! Being yourself really gets you far ;)
