THE CONCRETE JUNGLE AND MRS. CARTER

There is a moment in everyone's life when they need to get the hell away. To escape the troubles of reality and set your mind free. I finally got this experience on my adventure to New York. Although I've only been to the big city once, when my plane touched the ground I felt at home.
I woke up to an amazing view but couldn't fully enjoy it because I had too much to do. I had two days to create an experience before I was back in Atlanta and it wasn't long before the wanderlust started spreading throughout my veins and I was ready to explore. So my brother and I linked up with my one of my closest friends and we set out on the search for inspiration. I wanted to feel, see, touch everything around me. I tried every type of food that crossed my path, went into every mom and pop store that I could, and talked to anyone that would listen. I had a day to be a "New Yorker" and I was going to make the most of it. I went so many places... I don't even know where to start, but here they are in a nutshell.

It was breathtaking. To be surrounded by so much beauty and inspiration is a lot for one girl to handle; but truth be told, the city had nothing on this one woman.

How I finessed tickets to this concert still amazes me, but Mrs. Carter literally took my breath away, allowing my inner queen to take my place. I lost my mind. The feeling cannot be put into words so hopefully from this clip you can get a little piece of it.
